ECCS Presentation to the Children's cabinet and children's action network On November 17, 2004, the Early Childhood Comprehensive System (ECCS) project made a presentation to a joint session of the Children's Cabinet and the Children's Action Network. The presentation provided the Children's Cabinet and the Children's Action Network with a progress report of grant activities to date. The centerpiece of the presentation was the “Proposed Strategies to Build and Strengthen Michigan's Comprehensive Early Childhood System” document—a compilation of the strategies recommended by each of the system component work groups. The Children's Cabinet is currently reviewing the recommendations of the ECCS project. Further action is expected in early 2005; updates will be posted on the website and listserv. The materials presented to the Children's Cabinet and Children's Action Network are being provided below for your information. Please share this information with your networks.
