Goals
of the Summit
- For participants to understand why it is important
to focus on results for young children
- For participants to become familiar with national
and Michigan initiatives to define results and indicators
- For participants to acquire a tool for establishing
results and indicators
- For participants to gain firsthand experience
in using this tool, creating a preliminary set of statewide results
for public comment
- To encourage continued participation of all
summit participants in shaping the selection of statewide results
and indicators through community dialogue
